The Carlsbad Democrats was formed in early 2022 CE to have a Democratic Club promoting Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) as core values and goals in the SDCDP, the CDP, and the Democratic Party in the United States of America. The Club is particularly concerned about the global crisis of anthropogenic climate change, environmental degradation, and environmental justice.

The Club seeks to identify qualified candidates for elected public office committed to those values and goals and will establish them in law and systems on every level possible, local to national. The Club will help elect those candidates and supports JEDI in every individual and community potential.
